On August 13th, 2016 Kristin and Jesse got up and prepared for the day. They made plans and they got cleaned up and prepared for their wedding day. On a tight schedule, planned down to the minute, the day started smoothly.

Jesse and his groomsmen began the day setting up the reception hall and although they encountered struggles with their pockets squares did make it to the church to meet and invite all their guests to the church.

Kristin's day started similarly, full of nerves and excitement. A rush of hair and makeup and finding time to take a breath.

They met at the altar and the immediately you could see the nerves disappear.

This wedding day was full of family. Some only in spirit, but all very powerfully supporting Kristin and Jesse.

We spent the afternoon in the park laughing and creating portraits of the bride and groom and their wedding party. I had so much fun with this group of people, there was always a joke to be made and an idea for a group photo to be crafted.

My favourite part of the day to capture was the first dance. Jesse sang their song to Kristin the entire dance, which created beautiful moments every turn.

I was so luckily to be a part of this day. Kristin and Jesse are amazing people and I am so lucky to have been selected to capture their wedding day.

Congratulations Kristin and Jesse! I hope every single day your love grows for each other.
