Josie + Lucas have been together for years. They share a love of reading and board games, and they are delightful people to be around. I had so much fun at this session; they let me laugh with them throughout the session and were not afraid to have tons of fun with me. For their engagement session, we decided to venture out into the backcountry and enjoy Forgetmenot Pond. This location is breath-taking, and I was so excited when they decided on it. Amazingly the pond was almost visitor free, and we had a beautiful place to capture them in.
I always love hearing proposal stories, and these two have an extraordinary story. They play many board games, so Lucas has a special card made to add into one of the games. A card that would allow him to propose during the match. I adore that he incorporated one of their favourite things into his proposal.
My favourite sessions are engagement session! I love being able to take the time to get great images and introduce myself to my clients, especially when I am going to be at their wedding. The engagement session is a time for us all have no pressure and to have a ton of fun. I always use this time to get my couples used to being in front of the camera and get them relaxed for future sessions.
