FAQ

How do you photograph weddings?

I love being by your side to help you before your wedding day. I'll send you a guide to help you organizing your day, the best moments for the couple photos, the different lights... and it's really exciting for me to receive photos of your dress, shoes, invites...! On your wedding day, all I want to capture is the feelings, the mood, the emotions, the calm and crazy moments and all the details that make your wedding unique. That's why I decided to photograph non-traditional and laid-back weddings.

Where are you based and do you travel?

I'm based in Calgary, AB and yes I love to travel! If you wedding is further away, please contact me and we can discuss rates for travel. Anything over an hour drive will incur an additional cost.

When will we get our photos?

Your will receive an email with a couple sneak peeks within a week after your wedding. An online gallery link with all your photos will be received within a maximum 3 months.

How many pictures will we receive?

For a 8 hours coverage wedding, you will receive between 400 to 600 fully edited images. I always choose quality rather than quantity and that's why I will choose the best and more significant photos to tell your story.

I have specific poses in mind. Can we incorporate them into our session?

Fantastic! I can’t promise to get exact poses, but I do love to see what kind of mood you are going for with your photos. If you have pose ideas, please send them or share a Pinterest board with me before your wedding day. That way I can get a feel if you want to be more candid, more romantic, or more playful and it gives me a chance to craft the pose to my style.

What if it rains/blizzards on the day of my wedding?

If the weather is unruly on your wedding day, you have two options; we can embrace it or use an indoor location we'll have as a back-up.

Because the weather in Calgary can be so unpredictable, I am comfortable shooting in any weather conditions, but I understand that you aren’t. On the day of, if the weather is looking less than ideal, we will work with the back-up plan we have discussed prior to your wedding day.

What do I need to do to reserve photography for my wedding day?

To reserve a wedding date a non-refundable retainer of 25% of your wedding collection is required, as well as, a signed contract. This retainer is used to hold your day and allows me to take that date off my calendar for future inquiries.
